A simple explanation of what's happened
Allright, I see lots of people asking what's going on, in the forums.

What we know so far; Jark was fired on the 27th or 28th (not 100% sure on which). He did NOT resign, and he wasn't banned. He's not actually leaving dA, which is what some people seem to think. Same with Matteo, they're both still here, they're just not staff members anymore.

Also, a lot of staff members have resigned, because of jark's firing:

Well, most of you should know by now, that $jark, one of the beloved co-founders of DeviantART was fired. If you've done any investigation into the matter, you may have seen that comments and such have been deleted, possibly to protect staff members (from embaressment, liability issues, who knows?).

Anyway, there's been a big outcry of Deviants because of this. People adding " $jark" into their signatures, which is a good idea. It shows support, and lets everyone know we love our resident yellow alien.

Our goal is to inform. We're not really a club, we're more, as =ryu-industries so eloquently put it; An "information hub". We want everyone to be up-to-date on what exactly is going on. We support jark, and do want him reinstated, but at the same time, don't exclusively put up anything that helps him, and keep everything off that might hurt him. Also, were relying on you guys to prove or disprove things that we link to incase we make a mistake. We want to present the truth thus far. Again, if you see problems with how we present some pieces of information or problems with the information itself, note us about it.

And remember, don't just blindly give in to supporting Jark, support Jark if you truely care about this community and what's happening to it.

We do a lot of minor-tweaking to the journal, links and such, and usually just make it a "minor edit" (where watchers aren't notified of a change), we'll probably only let it notify if we add something important.
